THANK YOU to every volunteer who made Port Elgin Pumpkinfest such a fantastic weekend!🎃
Pumpkinfest is “Family Fun, Second to None” and it all comes down to the people who give their time to make it happen.
Every role, big or small, came together beautifully this year.
A huge shout-out to:
Our event volunteers at the Car Show, the Marketplace, the International Giant Vegetable Weigh Offs, the Kiddie Karnival, and every other corner of the festival
The Town staff that give us the support from logistics to road closures and support throughout the weekend. all done with smiles and encouragement
Our behind-the-scenes heroes, from treasury to forklift drivers, judges, emcees to the fencing crew, the Entertainment crew and too many more to mention. They kept
everything running smoothly
Our Board of Directors and the Growers for their year-round commitment and the long hours spend growing and setting up and taking down.
The students who jumped in, lent a hand, and made every job easier.
Our Partners who donate financially but also supply equipment and their time to make it all happen! Thank you!
Our residents and businesses for their support, patience and understanding
All of this was done by volunteers who love this community and this festival. You turned a weekend into memories that families will talk about for years. We couldn’t do it without this support!
