ulture. Totems and big houses stand
tall and weathered throughout Port Hardy and the
neighbouring community of Fort Rupert, telling of the
indigenous history that began over 8,000 years ago. Port Hardy sits at the very edge of the coastal
wilderness where you can hike our rugged trails, walk
along our sandy beaches, paddle along the rocky
shores of neighbouring islands or get to know the
locals, no matter what you choose you will find that
exploring Port Hardy connects you with nature in
ways you didn’t anticipate.

🎯 Disc Golf Sets Now Available to Borrow! 🥏

Thanks to a generous donation from Rotary, we now have disc golf sets ready for the public to borrow!

🏞 Borrowing Details:
- A $5 cash deposit or a piece of ID (e.g., Status Card, Student ID, Driver’s License) is required
- No credit or debit cards accepted
- Lost a disc? There’s a $5 replacement fee per disc

📣 Safety Tips Before You Throw:

Always check your surroundings before throwing and yell “FORE” to alert others if your disc goes off course.

Keep your discs low to avoid sending them over the tennis courts

📍 Come visit us and try out this fun outdoor activity—perfect for all ages. Let’s play safely and say a big thank you to the District Of Port Hardy and Rotary for making this possible!
