Matthews Little Portage Camp is a Family owned & operated Tourist Camp.since 1936
We have been afactionaty refered to as a "5 star Rustic camp" with 5 star rustic staff
Our cottages are not fancy thus the "Rustic" discripion .but meet the aproval & comfort of our guests. We have enjoyed the company of our 5 generations of guests year aftr year

A wonderfull thing happened to / for The Sag Lake Pickerel Hatchery.
Yesterday, It recieved a donation of $20,000.00 from the local "Casse Alliance" This donation is specicaly for " A Much needed Building maintanance programme. New roofing , Siding & retaiining wall .
As mentioned previously by My grandson Will / BJMy Sister Gael donated $4000.00 towards a new dock for the Hatchery
As some of you "May Not Know"?
The hatchery continues to operate @ full speed every Spring
The release of one million pickerel fry into the waters of "Sag"every year continues
There is no excuse for not "Catching" a Pickerel
So on behalf of the Sag Lake Pickerel Hatchery
I wish you "Good Fishing / Catching "
