This contest will begin at 8am PST on August 17, 2020 and close September 28, 2020 at 4pm. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The trip can be taken any time between October 1*, 2020 to April 30, 2021 (*provided public health authorities deem it safe to travel).

The Contest will begin on August 17, 2020. The Contest will end at 16:00 PST on September 28, 2020 (the “Closing Date”). Two winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries. Winners will be notified via email on or before September 30, 2020.
The contest is open to any Canadian or American resident over the age of 18 years who enters the contest by tagging #MyPortRenfrew in Port Renfrew photo captures (maximum of 5 images per participant) from current or past visits on Facebook and/or Instagram.
Misrepresentation of age or residency will disqualify the submission. The following person(s) are NOT eligible to win the contest: (a) employees, members of Chamber of Commerce Port Renfrew; (b) individuals employed or appointed as members to the Port Renfrew Economic Development Task Force; (c) employees of WorkLink Employment Society; and (d) anyone residing in a jurisdiction in which contests of this nature are prohibited. Odds of being selected are dependant on the total number of eligible entries received by the Closing Date. The greater the number of eligible entries received, the lower the chances of being selected.
This contest is void where prohibited by law. The contest consists of a random draw and the answering of a skill-testing mathematical question.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have complied with all of the conditions contained in the Official Rules. WorkLink BC accepts no responsibility for entries lost, misdirected, illegible, incomplete,
delayed or destroyed or for the failure or malfunction of any hardware, software or telecommunication component relating to online entries. Worklink BC has the right to terminate or suspend this contest or to modify the contest rules at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever.
All entries become the property of WorkLink BC, who assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on- line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by PRETF on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.
By entering the contest selected winner’s agree to comply with these official rules and agree to the publication, reproduction, and/or other use of his/her name, statements about the contest, and/or personal photograph or other likeness without further compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by WorkLink BC in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast, or digital.
Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of the independent judging panel, which are final.
Two (2) winners will be selected from all eligible entrants by way of a random draw.
Before being declared a winner of any prize, the Selected Entrants must have correctly answered a mathematical, skill-testing question and submitted a completed Declaration and Release Form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded, releasing WorkLink BC from any and all liability in association with the contest or the prize. In the event that a selected entrant(s) has not been contacted to claim his or her prize within three (3) days of the last communication attempt (via email, Facebook or phone call), after a minimum of three (3) attempts by WorkLink BC; or does not correctly answer the skill testing question; or if the selected entrant does not otherwise comply with the rules and regulations of the contest, another random draw or draws will be conducted to select a replacement winner in the same manner. The prize will only be given to the confirmed winner(s). All decisions of WorkLink BC shall be final.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be converted to cash.
By submitting your photo(s), you agree to allow WorkLink BC to use the photos for editorial purposes. You acknowledge and agree that all submissions may be reproduced and published (without notice or compensation) in any electronic media and any printed material.
Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this competition, contestants and WorkLink BC agree that any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this competition, or any claims submitted, shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration by one arbitrator pursuant to the provisions of the B.C. Commercial Arbitration Act, or any successor legislation that is in effect on the date of the notice to arbitrate. Any hearing will be
held in Victoria, BC, Canada. The legal situs of this contest is British Columbia, Canada. The contest takes place in and prizes are awarded in British Columbia. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Official Rules, or the rights and obligation of contestants in connection with this competition, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Worklink BC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify or suspend the contest, or modify the contest rules and regulations at any time for any reason whatsoever.
A third-party application is used as the platform for this contest. WorkLink BC is not responsible for any personal information that is willingly provided by contest entrants to the third-party application, although Worklink BC is taking reasonable steps to help protect this information.
