Looking for a fun outdoor activity in The qathet Region this Thanksgiving weekend? Craig Park is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of autumn while getting outside for some fresh air and adventure with friends and family!
🥏 The park features an 18-basket disc golf course, perfect for a friendly game surrounded by colourful fall foliage. You’ll also find a playground, a large open field, a tennis court, and a gazebo to enjoy during your visit.
🌲 Take a stroll along the trails and enjoy the peaceful sound of the stream running alongside the course. Keep in mind that some sections of the disc golf course are steep and can become slippery when wet, so proper footwear is recommended.
☕ After your outdoor adventure, take a short 10-minute drive to Lund and stop by Nancy’s Bakery, famous for its delicious giant cinnamon buns! It’s the perfect place to warm up with a coffee or tea and treat yourself after a day outdoors. 🥐☕
📍 Craig Park is located along Craig Road, approximately 200 metres off Highway 101 in the Qathet Region.
Whether you're visiting for disc golf, a peaceful walk, or simply to soak up the fall colours, Craig Park is a lovely spot to add to your autumn adventure!

In qathet on a dreary day? 🌧️
There is still so much you can do!
Head to the museum, or the Top Out Climbing Co-op (check out the public market while you are there!), do some shopping at the amazing variety of local shops along Marine Avenue, and of course take the opportunity to enjoy qathet’s outdoors with a rainier, but still stunning, lens.
