One last Sunday night by the river.

Prescott’s own Sun Dried Flies will close out the 2026 Summer Concert Series on Sunday, August 30, with an evening of oldies at the Kinsmen Amphitheatre.

Formed here in Prescott with some of their first performances at the Prescott Farmers' & Crafters' Market, the band has gone on to win Ontario’s Got Talent and share stages with Canadian music legends David Wilcox and Kim Mitchell. Known for their energy, versatility and ability to get a crowd moving, they’ll put their own spin on familiar favourites for the final waterfront concert of the season.

Bring a lawn chair and join us for one more summer evening of live music along the St. Lawrence River.

Sunday, August 30
6:30 p.m.
Kinsmen Amphitheatre, 101 Water Street West
Free admission

In the event of rain, the concert will move to the Prescott Legion at 141 Henry Street West.

On October 3, the Festival of Small Halls Ontario returns to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church’s historic 133-year-old stone sanctuary for an intimate night with an artist whose voice feels made for a room like this.

The White Buffalo has built a devoted following around a deep, unmistakable baritone and songs that draw from Americana, folk, country and blues. His music has appeared across film and television, including the Emmy-nominated “Come Join the Murder” from Sons of Anarchy.

Listed on Prescott's Register of Historic Properties, St. Andrew’s was designed by Ogdensburg architect J.P. Johnson in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. The stone sanctuary offers remarkable natural acoustics, with stained glass by Harry Horwood — whose work also appeared in Canada’s original Parliament buildings — and a pipe organ donated by J.P. Wiser, one of Prescott’s most prominent industrialists.

A remarkable artist, an intimate room, and more than a century of stories in the walls.
