Excel Painting - This awesome painting service helped repaint the ceilings in the suite.
S&S Doors and More - A great local service that helped replace damaged doors in the suite. They also have a lot of other things at very reasonable prices that are handy for home renovations!
Paradise Cabinets - Skilled and friendly staff who offered a very creative solution for fixing damaged kitchen cabinets.
Splashes Bath & Kitchen - Friendly and knowledgeable employees who helped us with cosmetic bathroom repairs.
Ashleyhomestore - Attentive employees and a great selection of furniture. The love seats, coffee table, and two end tables came from here!
RK Furniture Gallery - Another amazing furniture store in town, RK offers high-quality furnishings and has an amazing selection of beautiful items. Michelle is very knowledgeable and treats you like family. All area rugs in this suite came from RK!
Victory Paint & Mercantile Inc. - Prince George's Benjamin Moore paint supplier. All painting supplies and materials came from here. JP and his team take excellent care of all their customers and offer great expertise to anyone in need.

3 tips for homeowners to keep guests cozy this winter ☃️⬇

✅ Heating
- Basement suites can get especially cold in the winter. If guests don't have their own heat supply, try closing some of the upstairs vents, especially near your thermostat! This can push more warm air into the suite.
- Supply guests with supplementary heating options like space heaters or electric fireplaces!

✅ Extra Blankets
- Make sure duvets are nice and warm for guests to sleep with 😴
- Supply some extra throw blankets for added warmth when sleeping, or to curl up on the sofa!
- Throw blankets can be placed in a nice basket 🧺 for an added warm design touch!

✅ Winter Yard Maintenance
- Put a winter maintenance plan in place to make sure walkways and driveways stay clear of snow ❄️ for guests.
- Supply guests with a shovel.
- After shovelling, put ice melt or lava rock down for extra grip on ice🧊
