North Coast Eco Tours, Prince Rupert, BC Eco Tours of the Pacific Northwest Based out of Prince Rupert, BC. Tours are kept small to enhance the experience and may range from 6-12 people.

Inlet Express Services is offers unique land and sea combination tours to Oval Bay on Porcher Island. While we can be contacted about arranging other local tours, our primary service takes you to our amazing property less than an hour boat ride west of Rupert. Routinely see Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, porpoises and dolphins as we transit Chatham Sound. While at Oval Bay, you may see coastal wolves, Grey Whales, seabirds, Eagles, beach spawning Surf Smelt (Jun, Aug) and possibly even Killer Whales, Humpback Whales or Grey Whales rubbing on the beach! The tour cost includes transportation aboard a beautiful high speed passenger vessel. In good weather, the bridge (roof deck) is available for spectacular viewing opportunities. Orcas Rubbing near our property at Oval Bay on Porcher Island in Northern British Columbia. This is unusual behaviour for most Orcas which are normally very cautious about approaching shallow water. However, rubbing beaches like ours tend to have steep slopes with loose rocks for easy wriggling back to safety. Careful, reliable beach selection ensures that there’s only minimal risk to this behaviour.

Wishing everyone a great weekend. Things have been busy at www.inletexpress.com but we have still managed a few fantastic trips to Welcome Harbour for some R&R, sand and surf. Beautiful as always.

Keep us in mind for your summer plans and spring getaways. We can set up a private tour for a group of friends, family or corporate "planning session". Spring is a fantastic time to see shorebirds, whales, porpoises and, as always, any time is a good time to relax on the beach with a bbq and let the sound of the surf take all your cares away....
