Throughout the journey of our lives we take on different roles; for me, some of these roles have been daughter, friend, goofball, wife, business owner and most recently, caregiver. I have fallen into a role we all know that we will one day need to take on for a loved one and that time for me is now. So things on the farm have slowed down. I am focusing my heart and head on someone who has done the same for me throughout my entire life and that's the way it should be. But nature waits for no one, so a huge thank you to the numerous people who have stepped in to fill my boots, weeding, harvesting, mowing, and providing love and cuddles for all our animals while I navigate this challenging and unrelenting work ahead of me. Bouquets will still leave the farm as previously scheduled but everything else will get done when it gets done. I just keep repeating to myself what my farmer friend Anna down at says frequently during the season "it's just flowers". đ¸
