We may be a small place, but our team works around the clock to keep things running smoothly.

🦌 Night Landscaping Team
Our overnight crew arrives quietly after dark to make sure the plants never get too comfortable. Their trimming techniques are… enthusiastic.

🐱 Bob – Director of Guest Relaxation
Bob believes relaxation is a serious responsibility. If she senses you are not fully relaxed, she will deploy advanced purr therapy and gentle supervisory meows.
Lap sitting may occur without notice.

🐯 Cheddar – Junior Relaxation Technician
Cheddar is our energetic trainee. He specializes in quality control for relaxation levels and accepts payment exclusively in chin scratches.
His highest level of happiness may result in a tiny droplet of nose drool.

🐓🐔 The Composting Department
Our newest hires. Experts in organic recycling and always eager to review kitchen scraps you may no longer need.

Our payroll runs mostly on pets, chin scratches, and snacks. 🐾🐔🦌

🛁Looking for a Cold Plunge Partner or Recommendations ❄️
Our wellness area currently includes a sauna, hot tub, outdoor shower, and a simple cold plunge (you can spot the metal stock tank in the photo). It has been a great starter plunge while we built the space, but we feel the area is ready for a more permanent upgrade.
We thought this could be a great opportunity to collaborate with a local maker or small business that builds cold plunges and would like their product featured in a real wellness environment.

Our spa area is already set up for it and we can accommodate a plunge that requires power for filtration or a chiller system.
Our overnight guests use the sauna and hot tub circuit regularly, so your plunge would become part of a real guest wellness experience where visitors can try it during their stay.

What we can offer:
• a beautiful nature spa setting to showcase your plunge
• regular use by guests staying at Quadra Island Mist
• social media features and tags
• photos and videos of the plunge in use
• exposure to travelers visiting Quadra Island

Snow day magic at Quadra Island Mist ❄️
This long weekend gifted us a little taste of winter before spring arrives in full force. Fresh snow, a glowing sauna, and steamy hot tub soaks made for the coziest kind of reset. There’s something special about watching the flakes fall, breathing in the crisp island air, and staying warm and cozy outdoors.

Grateful for this gentle pause between seasons — winter’s last little moment before everything begins to bloom 🌿
