Explore Quesnel The official Facebook account for Quesnel Tourism. Located in the central interior of B.C. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays (except for statutory holidays).

This is a public page to serve the visitors and residents of Quesnel and is maintained by the City of Quesnel during regular office hours being 8:30 a.m. Comments containing the following will not be permitted:

1. Comments that do not relate to the issue being addressed in a particular post.
2. Slanderous or defamatory remarks, obscene language or sexual content.
3. Content that promotes, fosters

1. Remove these above items from the City’s Social Media channels. Any content removed based upon the above must be retained, with the time, date and identity of the poster noted (if available).
2. Disallow those posting, any of the above, from contributing in the future (where that technical ability exists).

Everyone is welcome to experience the 2026 Lhtako Dene Nation Traditional Pow Wow, happening July 31 to August 2 at the Lhtako Dene Nation Pow Wow Grounds.

Join Lhtako Dene Nation for three unforgettable days filled with powerful drumming, traditional dancing, Grand Entries and community celebration. Browse the vendor area for locally made Indigenous artwork, crafts and handmade goods while experiencing the beauty and spirit of the Pow Wow.

🎉 Saturday is packed with Billy Barker Days fun! 🎉

Start your morning with one of the biggest events of the weekend—the Billy Barker Days Parade!

🗓️ Saturday, July 18
⏰ 10:00 a.m.
📍 Downtown Quesnel

Grab your lawn chairs and find a spot along the route to watch the floats, bands, vintage cars, dignitaries and local royalty make their way through downtown!

While you are downtown, be sure to explore the Gold Dust Mall along the 200 and 300 blocks of Reid Street. Shop from local and BC vendors, discover a wide variety of merchandise and enjoy live music on the Reid Street Stage.

🛍️ Gold Dust Mall: 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Afterwards, head over to LeBourdais Park for free entertainment throughout the day. The Quesnel Rodeo also begins at 1:00 p.m.

The 5th Annual Children’s Festival is happening tomorrow in LeBourdais Park.

Families can enjoy free food, free entertainment, local musical talent, free basket draws, and performances from Bollywood dancer Karima Essa and ventriloquist Kellei Haines.

It’s a great chance to get outside, enjoy the park, and spend the day celebrating creativity, community, and kids being kids.

The trails are calling 🚴‍♀️🌲

With the warmer weather here and the Quesnel Bike Park open for the season, it’s a great time to get out and explore Quesnel on two wheels.

Whether you’re looking for beginner-friendly flow trails, a ride along the Riverfront Trail, or a bigger adventure through one of the trail networks in the area, Quesnel has options for all kinds of riders.

Don’t have a bike with you? No problem — bike rentals and protective gear are available through the Quesnel Arts & Recreation Centre Rental Shop: tourismquesnel.com/bikerentals

And before you head out, stop by the Quesnel Visitor Centre. We have trail guides, local tips, and maps to help you plan your ride.
