For Nunavut Day, Statistics Canada released data from the survey project that we work on in partnership with them. Every summer, students are hired to work in visitor centres across the territory including the Kivalliq Regional Visitor Centre. Working both in the centres and conducting these surveys. Big shout out and thanks to them. Matna!

It’s Day! From July to September 2025, non-Nunavut residents took 22,800 trips to Nunavut. More than two-thirds of visitors arrived by air, while the rest made the journey by cruise ship.
