How about afternoon tea and molasses buns in a Lighthouse? Our entertaining Parks Canada guides shared colourful accounts of area ship wrecks and life at Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse as we enjoyed a relaxing respite. Tuckamore Forest, Balsam Fir and Spruce are stunted and misshapen by wind and sea air.

Our first day in Newfoundland was a busy one as we travelled from Corner Brook to Rocky Harbour. First on the agenda was a visit to Steady Brook Falls as it cascades 60 metres to the valley below. It was a bit of a hike but many took advantage of the opportunity.
