Our Blackfoot Guide Patrick was very informative. His description, the landscape and wonderful exhibits highlighted the relevance of the Bison and their historical significance.

World Heritage Site, Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump was our final attraction. Thank you to the Interpretive Centre for the use of the cafeteria for our indoor picnic lunch.

Today is our last day before bidding our Albertans farewell. A quick photo of the World’s Largest Truck in the coal mining town of Sparwood and then a stop to see Lundbreck Falls as it tumbles 12 meters.

Roy climbed to the top of the Fort Steele Water Tower and got these great shots of the area including the Kootenay River.

Everyone enjoyed exploring the historic buildings dating to the Gold Rush and the law enforcement days of Sam Steele and the NWMP. Costumed interpreters were most informative and entertaining. On arrival in Fernie, we explored downtown before checking in to our lovely hotel.

We were greeted by a beautiful day for a visit to Fort Steele Heritage Town . Clydesdales Joe and Shay led the way on an orientation tour around the town.
