Meet Audrey - Recruitment & Selections Specialist at Casino Regina—and a bit of a history buff. šŸ‘‹

Long before Casino Regina became a go-to destination in Regina’s Downtown, the building was known as Union Station, a bustling railway station connecting Regina to the rest of the country.

Today, the historic space is home to a busy gaming floor and the Casino Regina Show Lounge, a 900-seat theatre designed with world-class sightlines and acoustics.

But the building’s history hasn’t been forgotten. It’s preserved throughout the halls of Casino Regina in pieces you might not expect.

Join Audrey as she takes us through three pieces of history that are still part of Casino Regina today.

Meet Fabian — the chef and owner behind Rosemary & Rye in Downtown Regina! šŸ½ļøāœØ

For Fabian, Downtown Regina isn’t just a location — it’s the front porch of the city. It’s where every meal, conversation, and night out brings our community together.

Right in the heart of it all, Fabian serves up prairie-inspired dishes that celebrate authentic Saskatchewan flavours (including cold-water fish caught right in our backyard!). When he’s not in the kitchen, you’ll usually spot him at the Regina Farmers’ Market, connecting with local growers and sourcing the freshest ingredients. šŸ§‘ā€šŸŒ¾

Watch as Fabian talks about the inspiration behind their seasonal menus.
