⏰ Air Canada Travel Alert — August 16 Strike Possible

The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) representing 10,000+ flight attendants has issued a 72-hour strike notice, potentially starting Saturday, August 16. Air Canada has responded with a lockout notice and will begin canceling flights Thursday through Saturday, affecting both Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge. Only Air Canada Express flights will operate as usual.

If you’re flying between August 15–18:
• You can rebook for free between August 21 and September 12
• Or receive a full refund or travel credit if holding a non-refundable fare
