Driving through Rogers Pass this week and seeing the recent snowfalls has me excited for the new season upon us. The Pass isn’t ready yet but like everyone it’s on our minds as well. Here’s a few of my favorite pics from last year. Get stoked, it’s coming! ❄️❄️❄️❄️

I am forever in debt to my Dad and Mom for raising me in the mountains and teaching me skiing. There weren’t too many Dads in the 1980’s backcountry skiing with their kids. I’m forever in debt to my Dad for exposing me to it at such a young age. If only he could see me now. Happy Fathers Day to all of the great Dads out there 👊

Doing what I love to do! Ever since I began skiing as a child I always loved the challenge of the uphill. Ski touring made for a perfect transition from X-C ski racing. Up tracking is not for everyone, I get it. But it’s a big reason why I left Heliskiing. To be a ski touring guide, you have to love the climb and I’m so lucky to do this as my job. Thanks to all of the guests that have supported us throughout the years. It wouldn’t happen without you!

I remember when my Dad bought and framed this classic poster from The Banff Mountain Film Festival with Pierre Lemire’s great photo of an ACMG guides exam in the Bugaboos, and forever thinking how cool that was. That ski tour is cool! It’s one of the best ski tours that I have ever done and I am super lucky to have guided it twice now with and his amazing guests.
