Sometimes the best travel upgrades aren’t the biggest ones.

Our advisor Tammy is currently soaking up the sunshine at JOIA Aruba by Iberostar and sent back a little peek at this beautiful new property near Eagle Beach.

This adults-only resort is one of the newest additions in Aruba and looks like it was designed for travellers who want a quieter, upscale Caribbean escape with plenty of space to unwind. Picture infinity pools, ocean views, personalized service, and rooms with semi-private pools or whirlpool tubs.

It had been more than 20 years since our advisor Sherri last sailed with Carnival, so stepping aboard the Carnival Mardi Gras came with a lot of curiosity. Safe to say, this ship completely surprised her in the best way possible.

From Guy Fieri restaurants and a brewery at sea to BOLT, the roller coaster at sea, Mardi Gras is packed with fun for all ages. There were waterslides, live entertainment, comedy shows, great lounges, and so many dining options throughout the ship.

One unexpected highlight? The onboard brewery tour, which ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of the cruise.

Sherri also visited Celebration Key in Grand Bahama, Carnival’s new exclusive destination featuring white sand beaches, huge lagoons, live music, and spaces designed for both families and adults looking to relax.

Overall, Carnival Mardi Gras delivered a fun, energetic, and surprisingly well-rounded cruise experience for couples, families, and groups alike.
