Day two of Virtuoso Travel Week in the books! Today started off with breakfast with my rockstarTrevello family with great chats and catching up. Then, I was off to do my Virtuoso Hosting refresher...required every five years to ensure I am staying up to date to be the perfect host on Virtuoso Voyages (keep an eye on this space for opportunities to joing me on a Virtuoso Voyage)! Check...certification done and followed by a delicious lunch celebrating virtuoso host certified advisors and the select cruise lines who participate in the Virtuoso host program. Next up with a continuation of the "Globetrotting" meetings with suppliers, this time with a culinary angle. Great suppliers from around the globe...even a few Canadian ones! The final part of the day was the big Welcome session as the main part of the conference starts in the morning. We heard from the executives behind the Virtuoso network who shared the latest developments, stats and trends in the travel world. Lots of interesting information! The keynote speaker was incredible...Will Guidara, auther of Unreasonable Hospitality. Laughs and tears were had hearing his story and I will be buying the book! All in all, a fantastic second day!
