Join the launch of Shutters of Woody Point on October 17th!

This project brings a new way to explore the town’s historic waterfront, turning the seasonal shutters of four heritage buildings into works of art.

Celebrate with us Saturday from 4 - 8 p.m., for an evening of art, live music and local flavours in downtown Woody Point.

Schedule:
4 p.m. — Welcome and artist talk and walk with Marissa Bialowas
4:30 – 6 p.m. — Kacie Callahan performing on Water Street
4:30 – 6 p.m. — $5 street food from The Old Loft, Galliott Studios, The Merchant Warehouse and Taste of Gros Morne
6 – 8 p.m. — Sherman Downey performing downstairs at the Merchant Warehouse

Take time to wander, enjoy a taste of the community and discover the artwork, which will remain on display through spring 2027.

Shutters of Woody Point brings a new way to explore the town’s historic waterfront, turning the seasonal shutters of four heritage buildings into works of art.

Join the launch celebration on October 17, from 4–8 p.m., for an evening of art, live music and local flavours in downtown Woody Point.

4 p.m. — Welcome and artist talk and walk with Marissa Bialowas
