Planning to hit the road?

Wildlife collisions happen every year on Alberta roads - but a few simple steps can help reduce the risk:

• Scan roadsides ahead for wildlife.
• Use high beams at night when safe.
• Slow down for wildlife, but don’t swerve.
• Don’t litter - it can attract animals to the roadside.

Let’s keep both drivers and wildlife safe.

If you see an injured animal, report it

to your nearest fish and wildlife office: alberta.ca/fish-wildlife-area-office-contacts or call the 24-hour Report A Poacher line at 1-800-642-3800.

For those of you less familiar with Nordegg and the locations of where our events will be happening... review the MAP, look for the RED event flags and follow the MARKET signs to Nordegg's Historic Core where the Mountains & Mines Market as well as the Show & Shine will be taking place.

Market signs will be posted on the OHV trails as well :)
