Canoeing the Devil’s Elbow on the North Saskatchewan River with HeLa Ventures. The North Saskatchewan River between Nordegg and Rocky Mountain House can be fast and cold, but groups like HeLa Ventures, Frontier Lodge and the Rocky Canoe Club can help with skills and equipment to make a better experience. While the water is always cold they can teach you what to do when your canoe tips over.

HeLa Ventures is based near Rocky Mountain House in Clearwater County and they help people explore the mountains, lakes and rivers in David Thompson Country.
