🔎 Your mission: Dream about a Disney cruise.
My mission: Fall down the pricing rabbit hole and find the best deals.

My strategy? Focus on the longer cruises because they usually have the best per-night pricing.

After way too many tabs open and a completely unreasonable amount of Disney Cruise research, here's what stood out...

✨ October 2-9 – Disney Dream
Departing Fort Lauderdale, this is such a unique itinerary with stops at both Disney island destinations - Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay - PLUS San Juan and Puerto Plata. San Juan is one of my favourite cruise ports, and Puerto Plata is a stop we don't see very often on Disney Cruise Line!

✨ September 5-12 – Disney Treasure
This 7-night Western Caribbean sailing is pricing exceptionally well right now. Bonus: the Treasure is currently my favourite Disney ship. ❤️

🏔️ Looking at Alaska?
The Disney Magic has two September sailings that are pricing REALLY well:
• September 3-10
• September 10-17

If Alaska has been on your bucket list, these are definitely worth a look. These sail from Vancouver - if you haven't been to the West Coast - this might be your sign to go!

🎃 Want to spend Halloween at sea on my favourite ship?
The Disney Treasure sailing October 31-November 7 features stops in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, and Castaway Cay. Halloween on the High Seas - yes please 😉

✨ Interested in Disney's newest ship?
The Disney Destiny sailing October 10-17 from Fort Lauderdale is currently one of the best-priced 7-night options I found. You'll visit Lighthouse Point, Falmouth, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel while experiencing Disney's newest vessel.

🎄 Lowest-priced 7-night Merrytime Christmas Cruise I found?
November 13-20 aboard the Disney Dream out of Fort Lauderdale. This sailing includes Castaway Cay, Lighthouse Point, San Juan and Puerto Plata

It's the same fantastic itinerary as the October Dream sailing that I started with, but with all the Merrytime Cruise holiday magic added in.

🇨🇦 A quick note: These prices are based on the current Canadian Resident Offer. At least one guest in the stateroom must be a Canadian resident to qualify, and as always, pricing is subject to availability.

These are just the sailings that stood out to me as some of the best values available right now for later this year.

Want me to keep digging? 🙋‍♀️ Or better yet, want me to see what's available for your family's dates and budget?

Send me a message and I'll do the cruise stalking for you. 😉

With my Alaska cruise less than 2 weeks away, I figured it was probably time to finalize my excursions. 🤪

These days, we don’t usually book a ton of port adventures, especially in places we’ve visited before. We tend to enjoy having the ship a little quieter and take advantage of everything onboard.

But Alaska is brand new for us…. plus Alaska is ALL about the ports!

So, what did we book?

⚓ Skagway: A sailing adventure with fjords, wildlife, and snacks. (They had me at snacks 😉)

📸 Ketchikan: A photo safari. This one is mostly for John, but I figured he’d appreciate having one extra photo subject along in case the scenery disappoints. 🤭

💰 Icy Strait Point: I’m doing a little experiment and booked the cheapest excursion I could find. Alaska excursions are $$$, so I’m treating this as research to see if there are some great lower-cost options I can recommend to future Alaska clients. Stay tuned to see which adventure this is!

I’m excited to share these experiences (and everything else Alaska throws our way) with you in just a few weeks!

So, is Alaska on your bucket list? What’s the first excursion you’d book?

🚨 Air Canada Deal Alert! 🚨

If you’ve been holding off on booking flights, now might be the time to check.

Air Canada currently has a promo code offering 25% off eligible base fares, and I just saved a pretty decent amount on my flights to Vancouver this August! The current promo code is CVJU4VK1 and bookings must be made by June 8.

Of course, not every route or fare will qualify, but it’s definitely worth plugging in the code and seeing what comes up. A few minutes of checking could save you a nice chunk of money.

Happy flight hunting! ✈️💰

Every relationship has a planner and a vibe. Which one are you? 😂

At home and on family vacations, I’m definitely the planner. I’m usually the one figuring out where we’re going, what we’re doing, and making sure everything comes together.

Meanwhile, John is the vibe. He just shows up, enjoys the ride, and somehow has a great time wherever we end up. 🤣

That said, when I travel with my friends, it’s a completely different story. Then I’m 100% the vibe. If I’m in capable hands, I am more than happy to sit back, be the princess, and let someone else make the decisions for a change. 👑😂

So, are you the planner or the vibe?

The boss asked me to send a picture with my top seller award for social media… which one should I send? 😂

In all seriousness, I received my award in the mail this week and feel incredibly honoured and grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given by Click The Mouse.

ChEARs to the incredible Click The Mouse Travel team; to every family who trusts me with their vacation plans; and to Sandra (the aforementioned boss) for building something truly special and allowing me to be a small part of it 💙

The Carousel of Progress is headed toward a great big beautiful tomorrow ✨

I am a little sad it’ll be closed during my August trip… it just doesn’t feel like a proper Magic Kingdom day without having “It’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” stuck in my head for several hours. 😂

But I’m also really excited to see what changes Disney makes when the updated attraction reopens in 2027. I love that they’re keeping John, Sarah, and the whole family while bringing in new decades and updates for a new generation of guests.

This attraction is such a classic piece of Disney history, and I can’t wait to see its next chapter. ✨

Heads up for anyone sailing with Disney Cruise Line 🍷🍺

Disney has quietly updated its alcohol policy for guests bringing beverages onboard. Previously, adults were allowed to bring TWO bottles of wine per person at embarkation. This has now been reduced to ONE bottle of wine or sparkling wine (750ml max) per adult.

Guests 21+ (or 18+ on Singapore sailings) may still bring:
• 1 unopened bottle of wine or sparkling wine OR
• 6 beers (12 oz max)

These items must be packed in your carry-on luggage, not checked bags.

Also worth noting: if you bring your wine to the dining room, Disney charges a $20 USD corkage fee per bottle… so you’re better off pouring it up in your room and taking it with you. Your stateroom host can provide you with a corkscrew and glasses 🥂

Not a huge change, but definitely something to know before packing for your cruise!

How does Adventures by Disney put the “Disney” into the adventure?! It all comes back to Walt & Roy!

Aside from the incredible destinations and carefully curated itineraries, the absolute best part of an Adventures by Disney trip is the guides!

I learned something very interesting on this adventure - Disney trains their Adventure Guides using the “Walt and Roy” approach.

Anybody who knows Disney history knows the company became what it is not because of Walt alone, but because of the partnership between Walt and his brother Roy. Walt was the dreamer, the visionary, the storyteller. Roy was the one making the logistics happen, Finding the money, solving the problems, and turning Walt’s ideas into reality. Individually they were talented, but together they were unstoppable.

Adventures by Disney brings that same philosophy to every trip.

Each adventure has two primary guides with you from start to finish (plus additional local experts along the way). One guide is typically local to the region and deeply passionate about the culture, history, and stories of the places you’re exploring. The other is usually from North America and works alongside Disney to help facilitate the experience.

At any given time, one of them is playing the “Walt” role (the storyteller, entertainer, and visionary) while the other is playing the “Roy” role behind the scenes, making sure every detail and logistical piece runs smoothly. They constantly switch between those roles throughout the trip, and it’s just brilliant. Everything feels seamless, fun, immersive, and incredibly well organized all at once.

It’s one of the many reasons I love the way Disney operates, and another reason why I’ll absolutely be booking another Adventures by Disney trip in the future… both for myself and for my clients.

And as an added bonus? Your guides are also basically private photographers throughout the entire adventure. 📸 These are just some of the photos they captured along the way and shared with us at the end of the trip.

Shout out to our incredible guides Dimitra and Chris 💕

Okay, follow up to my Universal post from earlier because I just priced out an August vacation for a family of 5 and the value is kind of insane right now!!

I was able to get 10 nights at Endless Summer in a 2-bedroom suite, plus 5-day Park to Park tickets INCLUDING Volcano Bay, for under $4000 US total. 🤯

At this point Universal is basically giving these vacations away because where can a family of 5 go for 10 days for that price anymore? 😂

If you’ve been thinking about Epic Universe or Universal Orlando in general, this summer is SUCH a good time to go.

I share because I care. 😉
