Confession: once you’ve had your morning coffee on your own verandah, it’s very hard to go back. ☕🌊

Yesterday I shared the cheapest Disney cruises, period. Today it’s the question I get right after that one: “Okay, but how much MORE for a balcony?”

I went back through every sailing. 919 still have a verandah available for a family of 4, covering more than 233,000 verandah prices. Here’s what I found! (Family of 4, USD, taxes included, as of today.)

🏆 Cheapest verandah worldwide: $2,591. 3-night Bahamian cruise on the Disney Dream from Fort Lauderdale, November 6.

👀 Only $135 more than yesterday’s cheapest inside stateroom from Florida!

🌴 Cheapest on the west coast: $2,658. 3-night Baja cruise on the Disney Wonder from San Diego, February 26, 2027.

🖐️ Cheapest 5-night: $3,753. Western Caribbean on the Disney Magic from Galveston, January 15, 2027. The Canadian Resident rate saves $1,050. 🇨🇦

🗓️ Cheapest 7-night: $5,266. Bahamian cruise on the Disney Magic from Galveston, January 24, 2027. The Canadian Resident rate saves about $1,570.

🍁 Cheapest verandah sailing from Canada: $3,829. 4-night Pacific Coast cruise on the Disney Wonder from Vancouver to San Diego, September 20, 2027.

🏰 Cheapest in Europe: $5,284. 3-night Belgium cruise on the Disney Wish from Southampton, August 20, 2027. Only $159 more than the inside!

🏔️ Cheapest Alaska verandah: $9,744. 7 nights on the Disney Magic from Vancouver, September 2, 2027. Alaska is where that balcony comes at a serious premium - because that cruise is all about the views.

A little perspective: you absolutely do NOT need a verandah to enjoy a Disney Cruise! Our first two cruises were in porthole rooms, and I’d sleep in a broom closet if I had to just to be on a Disney ship! 😂 But if you can swing the extra cost, having your own outdoor space is lovely.

A little honesty: not all verandahs are created equal. The two cheapest are restricted guarantee rates, where Disney picks your room. The Disney Magic prices are “white wall” verandahs, with a solid wall instead of a clear railing. The Europe price is a Navigator’s Verandah, which is more enclosed. Prices change daily, so consider this a snapshot.

I checked EVERY Disney cruise so you don’t have to. 🔎🚢

Not a handful. All of them. 940 sailings on 9 ships between now and May 2028, and more than 370,000 stateroom prices.

Why? Because “how much is a Disney cruise?” is the question I get asked a lot, and answer is always “it depends.” So I’m starting a little series to show you exactly where the best values are hiding.

We’re kicking off with the big one: the CHEAPEST. Every price below is a starting price for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids), in USD, taxes included, as of today.

🌏 Cheapest Disney cruise in the world: $2,019. 3 nights on the Disney Adventure from Singapore, January 4, 2027. (The flights are another story. 😂)

🌴 Cheapest on this side of the world: $2,142. 3-night Baja cruise on the Disney Wonder from San Diego, February 26, 2027.

☀️ Cheapest from Florida: $2,456. 3-night Bahamian cruise on the Disney Dream from Fort Lauderdale, December 4, 2026.

🖐️ Cheapest 5-night: $3,012. Mexican Riviera on the Disney Wonder from San Diego, October 22. Yes, that’s two weeks from now!

🗓️ Cheapest 7-night: $4,158. Bahamian cruise on the Disney Magic from Galveston, January 24, 2027. That’s on the Canadian Resident rate, which knocks about $1,200 off. 🇨🇦

🏔️ Cheapest Alaska cruise from Vancouver: $5,102. 7 nights on the Disney Magic, May 27, 2027. Also on the Canadian Resident rate, saving close to $1,400.

🏰 Cheapest European cruise: $5,125. 3-night Belgium cruise on the Disney Wish from Southampton, August 20, 2027.

🌙 And the cheapest per night: $564 a night for the whole family. It’s a 14-night Panama Canal cruise on the Disney Magic, San Diego to Galveston, leaving November 6. That works out to about $141 per person, per night.

A little honesty, because that’s how I do things: every one of these is an inside stateroom, and most of the very lowest prices are Disney’s restricted guarantee rate, where Disney picks your room for you. Prices also change daily, so think of this as a snapshot.

Nobody wants a rainy day at Disney, but if it happens, you might as well embrace it! 🌧️🏰

We kept an eye on the forecast and, when it looked like the rain was finally clearing, the kids and I threw on our rain jackets and headed back into Magic Kingdom for the last two hours of the day.

I really, REALLY love Magic Kingdom at night, but I love it even more when the rain has thinned out the crowds to practically nothing!

In less than two hours, we rode Big Thunder Mountain, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Barnstormer, Haunted Mansion, and then we rode TRON… TWICE! We even squeezed in a Dole Whip.

And watching the fireworks from behind Cinderella Castle? It feels like you’re right in the middle of the show. ✨

Moral of the story? Don’t let a little rain ruin your Disney day. Sometimes, the best evenings happen when everyone else has called it a night!

Okay, it’s starting to get REAL! 🚢

The Disney Believe had its big reveal today, and I have friends and colleagues with boots on the ground getting all the details. It is SO exciting to finally start seeing what Disney has planned for their newest ship!

The Disney Believe sets sail on her maiden voyage December 18, 2027, and Castaway Club members will get their first opportunity to book next week.

And there are some pretty exciting things coming aboard:

🎭 Tangled: The Musical with a brand-new stage design and special effects

✨ Encanto, making its debut as a brand-new Disney Cruise Line stage show

❄️ Oaken’s Table, a new Frozen-inspired dining experience

🎹 Sea Notes, a Little Mermaid-inspired piano lounge

☕ Café Kakamora and Big Hero Sips, two new spots for coffee and treats

🏰 Plus some incredible new suites and some returning favourites, including the Haunted Mansion Parlor.

And this is just what we know so far!

Disney is adding Christmas overlays to three attractions that haven’t had them before:

🎄 Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
🎄 Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster
🎄 Alien Swirling Saucers

Expect Christmas tunes and some extra festive touches that give these rides a little holiday twist.

If you’ve never been to Disney during the Christmas season, this is one of the things I think is so much fun. They take attractions you already know and love and change them ever so slightly for the holidays.

It’s those little details that make Disney at Christmas feel so special! 🎄

I love just about everything about Disney cruising… but I have to admit, the coffee at the buffet and on the pool deck isn’t exactly my favourite. 😂

In a pinch? Sure. But if you want GOOD coffee, I’ve got two recommendations:

☕️ Cove Café if you don’t mind paying a little extra.

☕️ Room service if you want good coffee without spending anything extra.

Hanging your breakfast order on the door the night before, and waking up to fresh coffee and breakfast delivered while you watch the ocean go by is a pretty fantastic way to start a cruise day.

This is one of those little Disney Cruise Line tips you learn after enough sailings. ❤️

Magic Kingdom opened on October 1, 1971, and then exactly 10 years later, I showed up. 😂

So technically, Magic Kingdom is my older, more famous birthday twin.

I’m choosing to believe the park was built 10 years ahead of schedule specifically so I’d have somewhere appropriate to celebrate my birthday every year. They just forgot to put my name on the castle. 😉

When most people talk about the things they’d love to do someday, that’s often where it ends — talk.

Not Michelle.

She grabs life by the scruff of the neck and makes it happen. She dreams big, works incredibly hard, turns ideas into adventures, and somehow makes sure her family always gets the best seat for the ride.
