November 8 is National Indigenous Veterans Day, a time to honour the First Nations, Inuit and Métis veterans who have served in times of peace and war. We remember their courage and acknowledge the discrimination and lack of recognition many faced, even as they defended our country.

Their contribution and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
