The Visitor Information Centre will be closed this weekend, September 20th and 21st as we will be at Ganong Nature Park for Charlotte County Fall Fair. You can find us set up near the Ganong Cottage from 10am - 4pm both days. Drop by for Axe Throwing, spin the wheel for a prize, or just to say hello!

The VIC will be open September 28th and 29th for our final weekend of the season

The Old Ridge Community Hall is celebrating 100 Years this Saturday, September 13th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

Atlantic Balloon Fiesta is coming to Sussex on September 5th! This event is happening from September 5th,6th, and 7th. Tickets to ride in the hot air balloons can be purchased online, and you can find a list of what’s happening each day on their page Atlantic Balloon Fiesta! 🍂 All Aboard for the Fall Train Ride! 🚂

Step aboard this October for a one-of-a-kind journey from the historic McAdam Railway Station. Travel through the brilliant fall colours on a scenic round trip to St. Stephen, complete with the option of a hearty roast beef dinner to end your day.

📅 Train Ride Date: Friday, October 3rd

🕚 Departure: 11:00 AM

⏱️ Duration: Approximately 7 hours

📍 Return: Around 6:00 PM

Tickets will be released in 4 drops on Eventbrite, giving everyone multiple chances to secure their spot.

Ticket Release Dates: September 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th

Ticket Release Time: 12:00 PM (noon)

Ticket Limit: 4 tickets per customer

Ticket Pricing:

➡️ September 3rd & 4th: $150 (includes train ride + roast beef dinner)
➡️ September 5th & 6th: $115 (train ride only) + Optional dinner add-on: $35

How Ticket Sales Work:

This year, Eventbrite’s queue system will manage ticket sales fairly. When you enter the waiting room, you’ll be placed in a priority sequence. Once you reach the front of the line, your tickets will be reserved for a set amount of time so you can complete your purchase without losing your spot.
