Good Sunday morning! About 10 cm of fresh snow and started at -17 c. Going to be a great day riding, going up to -4 c!

Spring riding is the best! Let’s hope the forecast is wrong and we get snow instead. We arrived at 2:15pm, out the yard onto the trail on the lake shortly thereafter. We did almost 245 kms by 7:30pm. Great trail conditions, met the groomer. Thank you to the local clubs and especially CLUB Motoneige Piteman , our home club in Saint-Anne-du-Lac.

Les sorties en motoneige au printemps sont les meilleures! Espérons que la météo est mauvaise et qu’il y aura de la neige plutôt que de la pluie cette fin de semaine.

Nous sommes arrivés à la maison bleue à 14 h 15 et sur le sentier du lac il était pas loin après. Nous avons fait presque 245 kms par 19 h 30. Excellentes conditions de sentiers et ont a même rencontré la surfaceuse. Merci aux clubs locaux et surtout a notre Motoneige Piteman

March is the best time of year to go sledding, longer days, warmer days, more sunshine. That is if you are far enough north to still have snow. Check out SAINTE-ANNE-DU-LAC, QUÉBEC on the FCMQ interactive map and click on the snow accumulation and see that we still have lots of snow even after the rain. My dad 79 and mom 77 did a 200 km day to Club Gatineau and back on Tuesday. Here is a link to our site, I do have the days booked as we bought the house for best sledding in a 3.5 hour radius. But that is only because we are currently in flux as to when we can go up. Message us on the site if there is a weekend you want, we might be able to free it up. Weekdays are mostly available and we have a special rate. We are up there tomorrow and will confirm trail conditions.

A short clip of Saturday March 7th, 2025 on the 233 trail north of Sainte-Anne-du-lac. Rode to Fer a Cheval and back. Then later took a tour over to the Baskatong to watch the sunset. Trails were great all day! 300 km day!
