Unreal!! I don’t know how else to explain the last couple of days! Couldn’t even get the first rod down and we’re on!! Then the flood gates opened! What a last couple of days James! Great weather and spectacular fishing! That was o ton of fun. Can’t wait until next time….

What another epic spring break day! This time mom and the new pup Bailey were able to make the trip out. The salmon weren’t as big today but there were was more action which was great for the kids. Both Kaylene and Rylee reeled in fish. Kaylene’s was the biggest of the day and her hardest fighting one yet she says!! The new pup seems to be fitting right in and seems to enjoy the boat. The prawns are the main attraction for the kids tho. If they had their way I’d be pulling traps all day!! Can’t beat days like that with family out on the water!!

Daniel and Ivan wanted to go for a boat ride while they were over on the long weekend. Weather started off a bit iffy but the sun came out and the bite turned on! With a 15lb and 7lb ling cod each and multiple undersized and small cod the 4 hrs just flew by. Fish tacos for dinner on their last night doesn’t get any better or fresher.

Well last weekend we did the 50 min run up to where chinook opened up for retention. It paid off!! Calm seas and fiesty fish!! I’ll Brando reeled in his first chinook!!! Also got his first knuckle buster!!! Didn’t phase him tho. Got right back on the reel and we landed the fish. With the slot limit on wild fish we had to release a 23lber!! That’s ok cause on our go home tack shortly after we got our limit! Great way to end an awesome morning!

Had the family out last weekend. Asked the kids what they wanted to do and the answer was fish fishing!!! Going to have a couple good deckhands in the near future. Lots of feeder springs around this year. Shaping up to be some good winter fishing if they stick around. It’s one way to tire the kids out!!!
