A Bittersweet Goodbye to Our Beloved Airbnb

As I sit down to write this, I'm filled with a mix of emotions - sadness, gratitude, and excitement for the future. After five incredible years, we've made the difficult decision to sell our short-term rental property. It's hard to believe it's time to say goodbye to this chapter of our lives.

We've had the privilege of hosting amazing guests from all over the world , many of whom have become like family to us. We've shared laughter, stories, and memories that we'll cherish forever. Our Airbnb has been more than just a rental property - it's been a labor of love, a reflection of our passion for hospitality and connection.

However, life has a way of evolving, and ours is no exception. With our daughter moving to Australia, one of our son in Vancouver, two beautiful grandchildren (one in Australia and one in Edmonston, NB), and a job that brings us to South America several times a year. All this to say that we found ourselves traveling more frequently. As much as we've loved managing our Airbnb, it's become increasingly challenging to balance our travels with the responsibilities of hosting.

So, with a mix of sadness and excitement, we're passing the torch to someone who will love and care for our beloved Airbnb as much as we have. We're putting the property on the market as a turn key business opportunity at the end of next month, and we can't wait to see who will take over this great opportunity.

To our dear guests, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support and love over the past 5 years. You've made this journey unforgettable, and we'll always treasure the memories we've shared. Thank you for being part of our Airbnb family!
