Have you heard the Big News? Heritage Bikes is now offering Ski Services! This has been in the works for a while now and we will finally be ready to start in-takes starting November 19th.
We are still dialling in a few things, so stay tuned for more info. We recommend pre-booking.

Dear friends,

The first Saturday after New Year’s Day is traditionally our first trip of the season. Today, the thing I’m missing the most is hanging out by the magic carpet with the first timers. Before the Ontario hills were closed, the difficult decision to suspend our 2021 operations was made with a heavy heart. The safety and wellbeing of our members will always take priority and our volunteer team is looking forward to getting back to the ‘old normal’ in 2022.

Since 2004, I’ve had the opportunity to work and ski with some amazing people through the Rideau Ski Club. After 5 seasons as president, it’s time to pass the torch so the club can continue to grow and flourish into the 2020s. I’m very thankful for all the volunteers, sponsors, resorts, parents and members who make the club a place where everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. One warm and final thanks to Jenn, Greg and the community hub that was Sport X - without your support we wouldn’t have been able to reactivate the club in 2015. I am blessed to live in a community with so many amazing people and I plan to continue volunteering on trips next season.

Throughout 2021, the club will be recruiting volunteers to take over as president, webmaster and a few other roles. If you’d like to get involved, please let us know. We can always find you a position that fits your interests. Our hope is to see the club return to the slopes stronger than ever in 2022!
