Baking Day! Sometimes you just got to dive in and make large batches for the freezer. Mine is stocked with all kinds of goodies, ready in minutes when guests just “pop” in for a visit.

Sunday morning sunshine is creating a soft glow in our foyer today. It never ceases to amaze me that an architect 200 years ago, designed this house with so many windows! Even on a grey day, it’s a happy house. And the interior shutters are artwork in themselves. Historical homes tell so many stories. Maison Maitland.
