Ocean Quest is an award-winning Adventure Resort and Commercial Service operating in St. John's, Petty Harbour, and Conception Bay South, Newfoundland. like no other here in Newfoundland. As a recognized Canadian Signature Experience, we offer SCUBA Charters and training, Adventure expeditions, Whale and Iceberg Tours, Kayaking and BBQ Cruises. Our CBS training facility is a 5 Star PADI IDC center with a classroom, indoor swimming pool, and guest lodge with SCUBA equipment rentals. John's location has our Retail Shop, Full SCUBA Rental Equipment fleet, Air and Nitrox fills, and Commercial Service Bay. On The Mermaid (our tour boat) in Conception Bay out of the Sunset Key Marina we offer Party Boat tours and Corporate events for large groups of up to 45 passengers. At this same location, we offer Close Encounter RHIB tours with Sea Caves where you can also Kayak or Snorkel in and around the caves of Bell Island. Our Close Encounter with Humpback Whales tours is a boat or snorkelling tour that runs out of Petty Harbor during whale season.

Congratulations to on the launch of The Big C Atlantic Challenge! We had the privilege of towing Andrew out as he began this remarkable journey.

Andrew is attempting to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a micro-boat to raise funds and awareness for cancer research in the UK. It’s an inspiring mission that showcases determination, resilience, and the power of a great cause.

**UPDATE**
Andrew was retrieved by Canadian Coast Guard. The boat had a technical issue is now back on shore safe and sound.

We’re are STILL proud to have played a small part in the start of this adventure and wish him fair winds and following seas no matter what he gets up to next!

All hands on deck for the maiden voyage of the newest addition to the Ocean Quest fleet and what a day it was! 🙌🛥

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this special tour. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome even more visitors and locals aboard this new boat that has been in the works for some time now.

This vessel creates an incredibly interactive experience on the water and gives guests some of the best views possible of Newfoundland’s coastline, wildlife, and everything else the North Atlantic has to offer 👀
