The Travel Bug and The Bee’s Knees are looking for a Retail Manager to lead our shared team across two wonderfully different stores in St. John’s.
One is all about travel.
The other is all about living a little more thoughtfully.
Both are filled with great products, curious customers, and plenty of opportunities to make a difference.

🐝 THE BEE’S KNEES
An eco-minded general store filled with useful, beautiful, and more sustainable products for everyday life.
YOUR ROLE
You’ll be the person helping both stores—and our team—run at their best.
You’ll:
• Lead, support, schedule, and develop our shared team
• Oversee daily operations across both stores
• Create a welcoming, knowledgeable customer experience
• Support sales, merchandising, and inventory
• Train employees and share product knowledge
• Help manage our Shopify store and online orders
• Bring ideas, energy, and initiative to the business
• Help create a respectful, collaborative workplace
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO…
Is organized, curious, adaptable, and genuinely enjoys people.
Someone who can move easily from helping a customer choose the right travel bag to talking about sustainable everyday products. Someone who likes variety, takes initiative, enjoys learning, and knows that great retail is about much more than making a sale.
Retail or leadership experience is valuable, but we’re open to people who have developed strong customer-service, organizational, and people skills in other ways.
