The salt air of Bay Bulls can turn even the dreariest soul into a dreamer, and when Hayley the humpback appears, the wonder in the breeze seems to grow tenfold. Some call the North Atlantic her highway, but I suspect she treats it more like her own backyard, filled with old haunts and new surprises.
