✨ EPIC UNIVERSE WOW. JUST WOW. ✨
As I’m travelling back to Newfoundland today, I honestly don’t even know how to put into words our day at Epic Universe!
We had the ABSOLUTE BEST TIME EVER. 🤯
Full honesty… when we first walked in, we were like, “Wow, this is a small theme park!” 😂 (to us, hahaha!) BUT the little details, the incredible theming, and how immersive everything was? TOP. NOTCH.
🍄 SUPER NINTENDO WORLD completely blew my mind. I honestly kept thinking, How lucky are we to get to experience this?! How freakin’ cool! It truly felt like stepping right into the games.
🌧️ And then came the rain… and I mean a MASSIVE rainstorm. 😂 The rides went down for about two hours, so after attempting to hide under the Guest Services area and hoping it would pass, we eventually made our way to The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant to wait it out.
And WOW. The food was INCREDIBLE.
The veggie spring rolls were delicious, and the lychee boba mocktail but the dessert… DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED. 🤤
We had the banana Napoleon, and I’m not kidding when I say I’d pay the $287 USD we paid for our two adult tickets just to eat that dessert again. 😂 IT IS A MUST.
We sat at the bar and the service was amazing. The bartenders were so sweet and actually gave us our dessert for free! One of them also makes little drink koozies just for fun and gives them out to guests. We both got one, and honestly, it was the sweetest little touch. 🥹
🎢 NOW… THE RIDES.
We are thrill ride lovers, and these rides absolutely take the cake. They were phenomenal.
Stardust Racers? Let’s just say… wear a VERY supportive shirt. 😂😂 IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW.
🐉 Hiccup’s Wing Gliders in How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk is officially my NEW FAVOURITE RIDE. We rode it a bunch of times and I could have kept going!
👹 Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment? EPIC. I can’t even imagine how much went into building that attraction. The scale and technology were absolutely incredible.
We managed to ride EVERY SINGLE RIDE without Express Passes except two!
Curse of the Werewolf was down basically the entire day, but honestly? No big deal. It just gives us a reason to go back… and that dessert. 😂
And then there was Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry the wait was sitting around 2–3 hours basically all day. Another “oh well, we’ll do it next time!” 😂
Overall, our experience was PHENOMENAL.
We arrived around 10:30 AM and left around 6:30 PM, and even with a TWO-HOUR rain break, we were still able to accomplish basically everything!
So, would I recommend Epic Universe?
WITHOUT HESITATION.
If you love theme parks, immersive experiences and especially thrill rides, put this one on your list. It absolutely lived up to the hype and then some.
And yes… I’m already planning our next visit. 😂🎢✨
