Growing up, I moved to this province away from my family. I had to build a new circle of friends, meet people from different cultures, adjust to colder temperatures, and learn what it meant to truly settle somewhere new.

But the warm welcome I received in Labrador showed me something special about this place the open-door hospitality. Knowing your neighbours, lending a hand, and making people feel like they belong goes a long way. 🤍

That’s why I’m so excited to collaborate with the International team at Memorial University for our Pilates Social.

This event is more than just a fitness class. It’s a chance to meet like-minded students who have also moved to Canada to study, build friendships, and create community while balancing academics, wellness, and social life.

We know studying abroad can be an incredible opportunity, but navigating a full course load while prioritizing wellness and connection can be a balancing act. That’s where community matters.
