While exploring the West Coast, we visited a site that was a first for all of us.

We were treated to this absolutely surreal geological formation, a double sea cave with these slender tendrils of rock reaching down toward the water.

Truly otherworldly.

Newfoundland never seems to run out of ways to surprise me.

When I visited the Corner Brook area in the past, I was always drawn to these orange boats scattered throughout the region. I knew there was a photograph waiting to happen.

I shared the portrait version earlier. Tonight, I spent some time working on this wider composition, which is actually a composite of five photographs, each with a different exposure.

Sometimes you see a photograph long before you figure out how to bring it to life.
