A great day of learning, networking, and collaboration with fellow Chamber and Board of Trade representatives from across Central Alberta!

A sincere thank you to our Chambers Plan advisors and team for hosting an informative session that gave us the opportunity to share ideas, discuss challenges, explore solutions, and learn more about one of the most valuable benefits available to our members.

Chambers Plan was created in 1970 when a need was identified for affordable, accessible group benefits tailored to small and medium-sized businesses. Today, it has grown into Canada’s largest employee benefits program for small businesses, serving organizations from coast to coast while remaining closely connected to local Chambers and Boards of Trade.

What makes Chambers Plan unique? It was designed specifically for small businesses and organizations. Eligible businesses can access coverage with as few as one employee, making it a great fit for entrepreneurs, farms, family businesses, non-profits, and growing companies. Flexible plan designs, tiered coverage options, travel insurance, Teladoc Health services, payroll integration through Payworks, and many additional features allow businesses to build a plan that works for their team and budget.

As a not-for-profit employee benefits program, Chambers Plan reinvests any surplus funds directly back into the program. This helps keep premiums stable, rates competitive, and ensures the focus remains on supporting Canadian businesses.

Another valuable feature available to participating businesses is the complimentary Business Assistance Service (BAS), which provides access to professional expertise, including legal, accounting, financial planning, and human resources guidance. It’s another way Chambers Plan helps business owners navigate challenges and access support when they need it most.

As a Stettler Regional Board of Trade member, access to Chambers Plan is just one of the many benefits available through your membership.

One comment shared during the meeting really stood out: “A Chamber membership is like a gym membership—you see the best results when you use it.”
