It's official. I am now a Retired Travel Agent. I do have a co-worker, fellow agent who has taken over my client list. I would like to get her permission first before posting her contact information on here. All of you who have current files have been notified by email which included contact information for your new agent.
I want to say a huge Thank you to ALL of you for supporting me over my years as a Travel Agent, it was great getting to know you and working for you all.
While the industry is on "pause" at this time due to Covid 19 , there will come a time, hopefully in the not-too-distant future when we will all feel confident that it's safe to resume travel. At that time, I do hope you will continue with a Nexion Canada agent as this company has proven to be a Top Notch Agency.

To all travellers. Make sure you check out the government website for Travel Advisories before travelling anywhere. Know what is required of YOU before you go. the site: travel.gc.ca
Also, when planning your vacation, it's always important to budget for and purchase Travel Insurance to protect you in case of unforeseen circumstances; It's ESPECIALLY important now to have that Insurance in place. Read the terms and conditions before you go. It's far better to have Insurance and not need it than the reverse of that statement!

Holiday Travel Advice
Holiday travel can be stressful. Here are a few tips:
Arrive at the airport early. The roads and parking areas will be congested.
Pack light. If possible, carry on your luggage. If you must check your luggage, make sure you have all your medications, important documents and a change of clothes in your carry-on just in case you experience a flight delay or your luggage gets lost.
Pack earplugs, airports and airplanes can be very noisy with all the crowds and it will help relax you.
Don’t get “hungry’. Be sure to pack some snacks or get some food before you board the plane.
Ship gifts or give gift cards. TSA suggests you ship wrapped gifts or wait until you reach your destination to wrap them, as they might have to unwrap them to inspect it.
Travel on off-peak days and times if possible.
Travel early in the day. Flight statistics show that flights leaving earlier in the day have a better on-time performance. And if your flight is cancelled, you will have more options of taking a flight later in the day.
Plan for the unexpected.
Reserve airport parking ahead of time to ensure a spot.
Charge all your devices before you leave.
Pack your patience and maintain a positive attitude.

Hi Everyone; I am announcing news about my work as a Travel Agent. As you know, I have been a part of The Destination Experts for the past 8 years. The Destination Experts have decided to join Nexion Travel Group - Canada. That means my agency will now become part of a very large travel agency organization.
