Still here… just aggressively soaking up summer while I can. ☀️😂

I’m spending a little less time in the office and a little more time enjoying summer because, unfortunately, work seems to think it’s allowed to interfere with my summer plans. Rude. 😂

Summer in Ontario is way too short, so I’m making the most of it!

BUT if you’re thinking about a vacation, I’m still your girl. ✈️🌴 Send me a message and let’s get something on the calendar — because the only way to escape is to book a vacation. 😉

Spend a day in Edinburgh with me ✨🏰

Our last full day in Scotland was one for the books.

☕ Stop 1: Coffee in the city before wandering up into the historic Old Town.

📚 Stop 2: Exploring the colourful shops of Victoria Street, soaking up all the Harry Potter inspiration that Edinburgh is famous for.

🐶 Stop 3: A stroll through Greyfriars Kirkyard to meet Greyfriars Bobby. Of course I had to rub his nose for a little extra luck!

🛍️ Stop 4: The Royal Mile for souvenir shopping, street performers and the unforgettable sound of traditional Scottish bagpipers echoing through the streets.

👜 Stop 5: One of my favourite experiences of the trip—a Harris Tweed bag-making workshop at Islander. Getting to design and create my own bag made for the perfect Scottish souvenir that I’ll treasure for years.

🎭 Stop 6: We ended the day with the Spirit of Scotland show—a fantastic celebration of Scottish music, dance and culture. The perfect finale to an unforgettable journey.

And just like that, we’re onto our final day in Scotland. It’s been an incredible adventure, and I’m not quite ready for it to end. 🇬🇧❤️

Forget the fridge magnet—I made my own souvenir. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👜 Today we spent the afternoon at Islander designing and making our own Harris Tweed bags. Such a fun experience and something I’ll cherish for years to come. If you’re visiting Edinburgh, add this to your itinerary!

Standing on the fairways of the Old Course in St Andrews feels a little like standing in the birthplace of golf itself. Over 600 years of history, legendary championships, and countless golfers who dreamed of playing here. Pretty surreal to see it in person⛳️🏌️‍♀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤍

Spent a few hours exploring St Andrews today, wandering through the historic university where Prince William and Kate Middleton first met, stopping at the famous café they frequented as students, and browsing the cutest little shops tucked along the cobblestone streets. Between the university charm, seaside views, and endless local boutiques, it’s easy to see why this town captures so many hearts.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A true Highland experience today!

We were incredibly lucky to visit a Highland Beef Farm owned by Grace Noble. What began with just 10 cattle a decade ago has grown into an impressive herd of more than 320 Highland cattle.

Even more remarkable, some of the herd originated from Queen Elizabeth II’s personal cattle, and the farm supplies beef to the Royal Family during their stays at Balmoral Castle.

Grace and her daughter are an inspiring team, managing every aspect of the operation themselves—from raising the cattle to butchering, packaging, and selling their products on-site. After touring the farm and meeting some of the famous hairy Highland “coos,” we were treated to a delicious Highland beef burger.

An unforgettable experience, a fascinating look into Scottish farming life, and definitely one of the highlights of this trip. 🐂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

Walking the grounds of Culloden Battlefield today — a place where history changed forever.

⚔️ 5 Facts About the Battle of Culloden:

1. The battle took place on April 16, 1746.
2. It lasted less than an hour, making it one of the shortest major battles in British history.
3. The Jacobites, led by Bonnie Prince Charlie, were defeated by government forces under the Duke of Cumberland.
4. Around 1,500 Jacobite soldiers were killed or wounded, many of them Highland clansmen.
5. It was the last pitched battle fought on British soil.

Standing here, it’s hard to imagine the chaos and loss that unfolded across this peaceful moor nearly 280 years ago.
