IT’S FINALLY HERE. Junior hockey is back in Summerland!

Tonight, the Summerland Jets make franchise history as we hit the ice for our first regular season game and welcome the Osoyoos Coyotes to Summerland Arena.

But opening night starts well before puck drop.

Join us outside the arena beginning at 5:00pm for our community tailgate party with live music from Dane Bateman, family activities and special guests including former Team Canada Women’s National Team coach Nancy Wilson, former Hockey Canada CEO Bob Nicholson, former NHL goaltender Andy Moog and BCHC Commissioner Jeff Dubois.

Doors open at 6:15pm, followed by warm-up at 6:25pm and the first on-ice introduction of the Summerland Jets inaugural roster. Penticton Indian Band Chief Greg Gabriel, Summerland Mayor Doug Holmes and Bonaparte First Nation Chief Frank Antoine will join us for the ceremonial puck drop before the Jets and Coyotes get underway at 7:00pm.

Fans will also have the opportunity to sign our Thank You to Summerland Heroes banner before it is brought to centre ice during the first intermission as we recognize local firefighters and first responders.

Thanks to Nesters Market Summerland, kids 12 and under attend regular-season home games FREE when accompanied by an adult.

💙 Thank you to the Penticton VEES for recognizing the incredible local heroes who stepped up to support our community during the devastating Bald Range Wildfire.

Summerland Strong Night 💪💙

Join us Saturday, Oct. 3 for Summerland Strong Night to honour local heroes that helped with disaster relief during the devastating Bald Range Wild Fire earlier this summer.

$2 from each single-game ticket will go towards Summerland fire relief and all tickets for Summerland residents are half price for the night. Just show your ID at the Valley First Box Office!
