Yesterday, I took some cuttings from my sweet peas and got inspired by my new book— Sweet Pea School . The plan is to have lots of sweet peas climbing our fences and obelisks, and I’m hoping to pull off a fun sweet pea project for kids. Who loves sweet peas?!

I just had to copy this trend started by and because, wow, has January been long.

I’m dreaming of early mornings in the flower garden, pink skies, and picking blooms under the sun. Summer on the Island is pure magic, and I can’t wait to be back in the garden, surrounded by all that beauty.

I’ve been wanting to try making a flower panel for a long time, and last night I finally gave it a go! I gathered some of my dried flowers and got to work.

While I’m not 100% happy with the result, I’m excited to keep experimenting—maybe in a different shape next time? What do you think?

It feels like it’s been raining forever here on the Island, but tomorrow, there’s hope—we might finally see the sun again!

I’ve been staying busy indoors, prepping your offers and placing orders for lots and lots of zinnia seeds.

This past season’s zinnia crop wasn’t our best—actually, it was our worst yet. But next year, I’m determined to make up for it by growing more zinnias than ever before. I can’t wait to fill the garden with the most stunning blooms yet!

How lucky am I to spend a beautiful evening in the garden in the middle of October?! The flowers are slowly fading, as we haven’t had frost just yet. I pulled a few more beds, cut the last blooms for drying and pressing, collected more seeds, and found myself dreaming about what the 2025 garden will look like. I’ll miss this time outside once winter arrives—I’m not a fan of the cold and darkness.

I’m so grateful for each of you and the happiness you bring into my life through our shared love of flowers and the joy of the garden. Your support means the world to me, and I’ve come to realize that flower people truly are the best kind of people❤️🌸

In a few days, I’ll be working on one last wedding featuring our bud vases before tackling the dreaded garden clean-up!
