Yesterday, we rose early, had a quick breakfast, and set out to explore Budapest before departing for the airport to return home. Although our time was limited, the city left a mark on my heart. Budapest is undoubtedly among the top three most beautiful cities I've visited, and I will without a doubt return soon to further explore and experience its charm.

On our final day on board and proceeded to the picturesque city of Pécs, Hungary. From the breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage-listed Early Christian Necropolis to the vibrant streets lined with colorful buildings, every corner of this city has something to offer. We enjoyed wandering around the charming squares, immersing ourselves in the rich history, and savoring the local cuisine and coffee. Pécs is undoubtedly a hidden gem. We highly recommend this city to anyone seeking a blend of culture, history, and stunning architecture.

Vukovar, Croatia, a city situated on the Danube River, is a city of striking beauty and a complex past. Our visit revealed a city that, during the 1991 Croatian War of Independence, withstood a brutal siege, exhibiting extraordinary courage in the face of adversity. The aftermath of the siege left the city in ruins, but today, it stands as a powerful symbol of strength and recovery. The Vukovar Water Tower and Memorial Cemetery serve as tributes to the sacrifices made, and the city's resilience continues to shine. We encourage you to explore Vukovar's rich history and natural beauty—a city that honors its past while embracing a hopeful future. 🌟

Belgrade, the vibrant capital of Serbia, exceeded my expectations in every way during my visit yesterday. The city's warm and welcoming atmosphere, stunning architecture, and breathtaking views from Kalemegdan Fortress left me in awe. A highlight of my trip was visiting the Nikola Tesla Museum, where I gained insight into his groundbreaking inventions and even had the chance to conduct electricity, lighting up a light bulb. Belgrade is undoubtedly a must-visit destination, and I am eager to return and experience more of what the city has to offer!

Yesterday, our journey took us through the Iron Gates locks, followed by a scenic sailing experience through the Iron Gate national park. In the late afternoon, we arrived in Golubac, where we toured the fortress and savored a selection of local Serbian cuisine and wine.

Yesterday, our walking tour of Vidin, Bulgaria, took us on a fascinating journey through the city's history! 🇧🇬 We visited the impressive Baba Vida Fortress and wandered through charming streets lined with historic buildings, uncovering a wealth of stories and anecdotes. The locals were warm and welcoming, eager to share their city's rich heritage, and the town's quaint charm was a delight to explore. 🏰🌿

This morning, we started our day with a delicious breakfast onboard, before setting off on our included excursion. We selected the walking tour of Rousse, Bulgaria, which was followed by a visit to the Rock-Hewn Church, boasting impressive 14th-century frescoes. After the tour, we were dropped off in the city center, enabling us to explore at our own pace. One thing that is particularly striking about Bulgaria is the way its communist history is manifest in its architecture.

We arrived in Bucharest, Romania 🇷🇴 yesterday and began exploring immediately. Bucharest successfully blends history and modernity, featuring grand boulevards and prominent landmarks such as the Palace of the Parliament, the second largest administrative building globally. The Old Town presents a mix of old and new, while the Romanian Athenaeum concert hall is a must-visit destination for culture lovers. For a peaceful escape, Bucharest's largest park in the north offers leisurely strolls, bike rides, or boat trips on the lake.
