Day 5 brought a true Haida Gwaii adventure! 🌊

Bundled up and ready to go, our group headed out by Zodiac into Gwaii Haanas for a memorable visit to Ḵ’uuna Llnagaay (Skedans). From the journey across the water to time spent exploring this remarkable place, it was a day filled with beautiful scenery, wonderful experiences, and plenty of smiles along the way.

A beautiful summer evening aboard BC Ferries, travelling from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo. It’s a route we know well — many of our Ageless adventures begin with a ferry crossing to Vancouver Island.

With views like these along the way, getting there can be pretty special too.

Who’s holding up Balance Rock? 😉

It looks like our Haida Gwaii travellers were putting in a little extra effort at Balance Rock in Skidegate!

As our tour guide put it:
“Earning our lunch by holding up the rock!” 😄

Thankfully, everyone did their part and the famous rock is still standing.

Our Haida Gwaii adventure is underway! 🌿

Our July 18–24 group is currently exploring one of British Columbia’s most breathtaking destinations, and these first photos from our tour guide are already making us wish we were there!

From peaceful forest trails beneath towering old-growth trees to spectacular coastal viewpoints overlooking miles of pristine shoreline, Haida Gwaii is a place unlike any other. Over the coming days, our travellers will continue discovering the islands’ rich Haida culture, remarkable landscapes, and warm local hospitality.
