Couldn't have asked for a nicer Canada day weekend. Started off with a 2nd place fun tourney on balsam, then over to simcoe to sneak out a win, then to rice lake to finish off the weekend with a great family catching some smallies. Now back to the work grind....

It was a fun day exploring a new lake and sticking a few pigs. It was a slow morning trying to put a pattern together but once we figured out how and what they were relating to we got into a number of good fish. Managed to squeak out a 2nd place finish with the Lindsay Bassmasters clubbie, I may have to venture out to this lake again soon!

Definitely had to take advantage of the weather this weekend and get out on the water and glad I did. It was fun to finally hook a few good fish and even more fun sight fishing for them. and I put a hurt on the bowfin and pike and cant wait to get back out @ Lake Simcoe
