Welcome to the Santorini Magic! 🌊 This Jewel of the Aegean Sea is mind-blowingly breathtaking.

As you wander in awe, you keep asking yourself: How lucky am I to be here? People live here, and every day, this is what they experience. Are they in wonder all the time? As you stroll through cities like Oia, you are confident it can’t get better, but it does. It is a place where you can completely lose track of time.

I wish I could do Santorini justice in this post. The video I attached still fall short. I feel my words are wholly inadequate to describe this extraordinary place and will fail to portray Santorini for the exceptional wonder it is! 🥰

I’d always wanted to stay at this prestigious hotel....🤩. It was a one of a kind experience!

Opened in 1890 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway Hotel is the oldest hotel in the Canary Islands. Designed by Scottish architect James M. MacLaren, it has remained an iconic landmark, hosting high-profile guests such as Maria Callas, Gregory Peck, Agatha Christie and Winston Churchill.

In 2019 the hotel was rebranded as Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, merging historic elegance with modern, 5-star grand luxury.

The hotel hosts Santa Catalina Classics every year, one of Europe's most prestigious classical music festivals, through which Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, highlights its unique role in the cultural history of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

We welcomed 2026 in Edinburgh. The Dome was fabulous! It is a mandatory Edinburgh Christmas experience, transforming from a grand building into a glittering beacon of festivity that signals the season has truly begun.

The Dome houses the famous giant Christmas tree - 26 feet tall with half a million lights - and offers that bustling, packed, yet polite restaurant energy. If you are in Edinburgh from November onwards and have not yet tried The Dome, it is worth the effort. The visuals are stunning, the food is delicious, and the service holds up under pressure 💝
