We received this notification from Air Canada Vacationsregarding Fuel Surcharges. In the past whenever one company adds surcharges the others will follow.

"Upcoming Fuel Surcharge Implementation

We would like to share an important update regarding the implementation of a fuel surcharge at Air Canada Vacations.

Due to the recent increase in global fuel prices, a fuel surcharge will be introduced across all SUN destinations. Effective for new Air Canada Vacations bookings that include a flight portion made as of April 6, 2026, a fixed surcharge of CAD $50 per passenger will be applied and reflected within the selling taxes and surcharges at the time of booking. Existing bookings will not be affected. This measure supports continued safe and reliable operations without compromising service quality.
