Al's Walking Tour of Tilting and Oliver’s Cove Join Al on a walking tour of Tilting and become immersed in the community's history, culture, and folklore along the way!

Join Al, an experienced tour guide, on a walking tour of Tilting and become immersed in the history, culture, and folklore of this unique Irish village. Al's walking tour includes stops along points of interest in Tilting, such as a traditional fishing stage and heritage site. The tour will take you along the scenic Oliver's Cove trail where next to the ocean, you will view picket fences that enclose traditional gardens, notable landmarks such as the Devil's Rocking Chair, and an ancient graveyard shrouded in mystery and rich folklore. The tour ends in Al's shed where you will enjoy a song or two. Tours are available upon request daily. Times are flexible and can be mutually arranged. Tour lasts approximately 2 hours and costs $20 per person. During the winter months snowshoeing tours are also available to a traditional cabin for a cup a tea / coffee, a treat, and few tunes.

My walking tours are over for the season. I would like to thank all the folks who came my way and done the walking tours.I can safely say the tour was enjoyed by all and I look forward to next Spring for I will be resuming my walking tours once again and look forward to meeting each and everyone one of you who come my way. I wish you happy holidays and have a good and safe winter. The pictures show the colours of Oliver’s Cove in late fall . Also I host a kitchen party every Thursday evening from June to September at the Tilting Heritage Centre and all are welcome and guaranteed a good time
