Air Canada mainline operations are now fully suspended due to the lack of an agreement between the airline and CUPE, the union representing Air Canada flight attendants.

We advise travellers booked with Air Canada not to come to YEG unless they have a confirmed itinerary with another airline. Before coming to the airport, check your flight status and rebooking options at aircanada.com.

Air Canada Jazz flights are not impacted by the labour disruption.

Travellers may also encounter an Air Canada flight attendant’s demonstration at YEG today. Terminal access will not be affected; however, we recommend allowing extra time to avoid possible delays.
