Today's 'Bears by kayak' tour was especially epic. Starting in a complete 'white out ('faugust'!), ending in blue sky while enjoying the whole transition. On top of that, we had great views of a sea otter, eagles and lots of awesome bears! What a day!

Hey fellow traveler!

Wow, what a crazy ride the last couple of months have been for every one of us while facing the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic. And as we are still chewing on it, we feel confident to take you on an adventure tour soon, while in the meantime we are still working on preparing a minimum risk operation!

As some of our final preparations are ongoing, we are not able to give you an official start date at this point. We hope for your understanding while we stick to our 'safety over profit' protocol.

At the moment we can confirm to be offering the following tour-program, starting somewhere between June 24th-July 1st, with availability for our two NEW tours following shortly thereafter.

* 4hr 'Bears by Kayak', a scenic boat ride followed by bear viewing opportunities from your kayak in the sheltered waters of Fortune Channel. Max group size 4ppl, max two social parties

* 4hr Kayak tour including an interpretive hike through the stunning old growth of Meares island. Max group size 6 people, max three social groups

*NEW* 'Vargas a la carte' A scenic ride to Milty Beach on Vargas Island. Max group size 4, max 2 social parties.

*NEW* ‘Bears by Boat’, a 2.5 hour bear viewing tour and scenic cruise. Max 4 ppl, 2 social groups

All of these tours will follow dedicated safety-protocols that are aimed to minimize the exposure and risk of everybody participating in the tour, while offering you the most joy and freedom possible.

This means that you can expect small groups and unique experiences, off the beaten path!

This was last summer, when a white tailed buck was washed up on the shore and nature took it's course. After about three days pretty much nothing but bones was left. @ Tofino, British Columbia

Hey everybody!

Thanks if you're just stopping by, a fan or somebody that was already dreaming about their trip to Tofino ...about kayaking to the 'Big Tree Trail' or even see some 'Bears by kayak' this summer.

Unfortunately, we all have to change our plans to overcome the current thread of an unprecedented virus outbreak. In regards to Tofino, this means, that at the moment we are in a state of taking precautions as we are a little, remote community with limited health care and because of that kindly ask visitors to postpone their trip to Tofino.
This means that - as much as we were ready and looking forward to all these adventures we wanted to bring you on and share with you - unfortunately we won't be able to offering any tours at this point.

We believe that the rather strict measures that are taken at the moment are the right thing to do and hope this way the crisis is going to take the same or even better course as in other, early affected countries. Anyways, at the moment there is nothing but to tell you to stay safe by following the guidelines that are announced for your region.

For all good reasons in the world, we are looking forward to hopefully in the soon the future, where we can take you out on an EPIC adventure in Clayoquot Sound again!

We'll keep you posted about the situation as well as any new tour dates for 2020.
