Once you arrive at the dock at Maquinna Provincial Park, the 2km cedar boardwalk that takes you to Hot Springs Cove is a west coast wonder in itself. Strolling along amongst a lush forest of old growth trees, hear the sound of the crashing Pacific Ocean just beyond. As you approach the soaking pools, wait for the faint smell of sulphur in the air as you get closer to Mother Nature’s Spa.

Our daily Hot Springs Cove excursion is a 6 hour adventure which includes a scenic eco-tour in one of our comfortable cruisers. Book online or call our office to reserve your spots. 12 spots available only per day.

Yesterday, May 6, a deceased Grey Whale was reported to be floating offshore in . Today, it has washed up on Long Beach.

Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and Parks Canada are collaborating on next steps.

Today is Earth Day. A day to raise our awareness of our planet and its health. The Clayoquot Sound is a UNESCO biosphere reserve (1 of 19 in Canada). We take visitors through this region to observe the diverse ecosystems here and hopefully leave their experience with an enhanced appreciation for this beautiful planet and its rich wildlife. Happy Earth Day 2025 🌎

Hanging with the cool kids.. twice in a row, a single gull has been sitting on this exact rock, right beside the sea lion haul out at Cleland Island. Pairings like these always make me think of cute children's picture books with unlikely animal friend pairings.
