Ok bookish friends … I need your help to find some authors and businesses we should be obsessed with 💕

As a small business we want to help other businesses grow too so we are looking to partner with authors and small businesses for our retreat bags.

And I don’t want to just fill these bags with random stuff … I want it to be meaningful and when you pull it out you think … OMG I LOVE IT 🫶

Or read a new book by an author you’re texting all your bookish friends about because you can’t believe you didn’t find them sooner.

So I would love to intentionally use our retreat swag to support indie authors + small businesses and introduce them to this amazing community of romance readers who genuinely love books, travel and discovering cool new things 😉

Indie authors - We’re looking for authors who are interested in sponsoring retreats with ebooks. We’ll curate reads based on attending readers + retreat vibes and have opportunities for exposure, book clubs, giveaways and future collaborations.

Small Businesses - We’re looking for anything bookish, travel accessories, self care, jewelry, stationary, vacation essentials or anything that our guests would love to receive. We’re open to both sponsorships and wholesale opportunities, as well as giveaways and custom collaborations.

Ok romance readers booking for Fairytales & Fjords is almost here so I wanted to give you some more info…

We will be setting sail on Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady for 7 nights.

Roundtrip Amsterdam
4 Ports + 2 days at sea to chill
July 31 - August 7, 2028 - yes we will be yearning for a while but she’s going to be worth it 💕

Booking opens:
Chapters & Chill Collective (Paid membership community) → Sept. 8th

Inner Circle (email list) → Sept. 14th

Everyone else → Sept. 21st

While I’m always dreaming of beautiful beaches and mountain views I can’t deny I love the vibes of a cozy Saturday backyard read.

So are you doing a backyard read, hanging on the couch, locked in a closet so the kids can’t find you 😂 or maybe you have a beautiful view…all reading locations welcome!

As Chapters & Chill grows I’m also learning as a small business owner and I’ve realized what I’ve been doing isn’t sustainable in the long run…

So we are officially entering our slow burn launch era 🔥

So as things are going to run a bit differently I wanted to share the new process and a few changes:

The Collective → is our paid membership community. It’s an intentional positive space for romance readers to connect, low pressure book clubs and fun games and activities. Plus they get first access to retreat bookings.

The Inner Circle → is my email list which you can join for free! You get early booking access a week before everyone else.

So in our slow burn era there will be slower launches. More time to actually tell you about the story behind each trip. And hopefully a much less frazzled founder who doesn’t have to book 40 rooms in one workday 😂

This is your sign to book a reading retreat in Jamaica where the only scheduled activity is time to read. 📚🌴🥂

Five nights at Sandals South Coast with no kids in sight. Read with the sound of the ocean waves as your backdrop while you devour your latest romance novel. Eat food you didn’t cook, sleep in a bed you don’t have to make. This is your permission slip to treat yourself and do nothing for 6 days.

And when you feel like being social we have a built in community of other romance readers doing the same thing.

Chat tropes with new friends over cocktails, trade book recs at dinner or see if someone wants to put their book down to go snorkeling if you feel like it.
